Berkeley, California Light floods this 500 sf residential addition through a continuous band of clerestory windows punctuated by slim wooden columns. Inside, a loft span hovers overhead, capped by a pyramid roof ribbed with delicate beams. The loft's glass doors lead directly to an exterior viewing platform nestled within the roof.
