To preserve the Marina's open vistas and enhance public access to the waterfront, Endres Ware designed a low-slung pedestrian and bicycle bridge that respects the site and the extant vegetation. The bridge and pathway extension was designed so as to fulfill the overarching vision of a bicycle and pedestrial pathway that would unify the waterfront edge of the Marina and provide a continuous recreational and educational experience.
