The proposal is for a new pedestrian crossing, anchored to the existing historic steel West End Bridge over the Ohio River in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The design attempts to respect the geometry and graceful form of the existing bridge, while enhancing and engaging it with a dynamic, high tech, suspended pedestrian deck.
